The project for “Viale Monza Sud” consists of three different structures, repeated twice along the road so as to allow both sides of the road to have the same possibilities. The project is divided into 6 “islands” able to produce energy by themselves through sustainable mechanisms. The first structure, with the function of a public library, where book presentations, poetry readings etc. can also be held, works with air turbines that allows the recharge of mobile phones. In the second structure, water is the main element used on the one hand for the sustenance of plants and on the other on the other as vapor to create a cool environment during the summer. The third and final structure concerns air: a balloon, inflated with helium and anchored to the base, covered with fabric, generates an urban interior.
