FilmOff is a space dedicated to the analogical process in photography and cinema, designed on the basis of the off-field metaphor as a definition of urban surplus. It was designed in a school that has not been used for a long time, in Varese. Based on the assumption of a new point of view, it starts from the principle of trespassing, so that the off-field can be rediscovered and become a central element of space and of the scene. The different spaces, divided between field and off-site, were designed through a gradual process of crossing over, made through panels and a strong contrast in terms of color, which takes up the vertical development of the four floors of the building, so that between the field and the out of bounds, barriers and separations no longer exist. The hybridizing functions more and more, on the top floor the divisions are totally unhinged, and there is the final staging of the analogical process, with an exhibition space, determined by out of range that influence the space.
