Collecting fragments: The analysis of the assigned spaces, the two bedrooms of the protagonists and the shared bathroom, shows the common organic nature of the relationship between materials and colours. The typology of light’s effects differentiates them: the former is characterized by opaque materials, while the bathroom has reflective surfaces both on the walls and on the floors. Composing the sequence: Starting from the chosen sequence, the analysis has been based on understanding the relationships that determine its balance: one symmetrical, the other based on the golden section, both based on works of art by Van Gogh, Bor, Raffaello, Furini, Man Ray, Schiele and Tozzi. Decomposing the image: The final analysis is the result of the first two phases – one more technical and objective and the other more romantic and subjective -: an attempt to make visible the multiple dualisms found in the relationship between the two characters, going through the study of their moments of encounter.
