Adidas STOP & … is a project that aims to bring man back into direct contact with the natural world, highlighting the benefits for both the individual and the community. The idea is based on primordial concepts belonging to the natural world: the internal hexagonal structure of the leaves, the purification of the air by the plants, the acoustic insulation inside the forests and the importance of preserving the environment. A hexagonal modular structure is born, made up of bamboo canes wedged together, to guarantee stability and subsequent reuse, easily removable and transportable, which can be positioned anywhere due to their small size, as well as being upgradeable in aesthetics and functions. At the moment there are four functions, designed to bring concrete benefits to users according to the idea of physical and mental well-being. They are also low environmental impact and applicable in different places according to the needs of the buyer: retail corner, nutrition bar, room for deprivation and sensory stimulation and stretching corner; through these spaces it is possible to recognize Adidas as a sustainable and environmentally friendly company without neglecting the focus on man. The user is invited to activate all five senses to take a break from the hectic city life, focusing on body health and consequently mental health, relaxing the muscles, bringing the right nutrients to the body, isolating the mind for a few minutes and renewing through shopping. What unites the functions is the application of the concept of urban jungle, an idea that explains the atmosphere of physical, mental and environmental well-being. Every space, through its function and internal aesthetics, invites you to concentrate on your well-being, on your physical breathing but also on the environment, leaving your grip momentarily and stopping to start over with a new spirit. In this way it is possible to enjoy a moment of pause, a deep breath during the day to relive the contact with nature.
