ARCHISONO is a site specific project, which was born with the aim of redeveloping the now abandoned complex of the College “Calchi Taeggi”, in Milan, using the assonance between architecture and sound. Spaces are thus associated with musical terms, suggested by the architecture itself. A path develops from the entrance, linked to the term hiss, and leads to the central courtyard, where sounds resound through the arches. Here the bar, change of tone, is a transition space between the rumble of the court and the echo of the former church. You go on to the side garden, which houses the ruins of the former Church of San Bernardo, where now three pendulums recall its bell tools. The path continues towards the library, solo, a marginal building compared to the entire complex, but not less important. The final destination is the terrace on the third floor, which develops in a crescendo, which reaches its peak in the outer space.
