The aim of our project was to bring back to life an old Italian boarding school: collegio Calchi Taeggi. We saw the incredible potential of the huge building, and we decided to give it back to the people, especially to the younger ones, who suffered a lot during the pandemic and are still trying to get used to a new kind of lifestyle. People during the pandemic got lazier and lazier, so that we decided to create an environment, inside the collegio, that could host a series of physical-fun activities. We developed our project in a cinematographic way, mainly because of the surreal atmosphere of the collegio, that brought back to our mind a huge number of successful movies. The way we recall the movies inside of the collegio is not traditional, we tried to focus on the cinematographic set, that is a sort of landscape. The activities inside the collegio are self-managed by the younger people who live in the neighbourhood and want to feel useful, feel like they are the main actor in their life and in the life of their community.
