The analysis focuses on the investigation of some characteristic elements of the movie, defining its aesthetics, and atmosphere. Collecting fragments: The spaces of the house simulate a sort of stage where the characters move and act. The role of the props contributes to defining the way in which spaces are experienced. Composing the sequence: The framing construction is based on a geometric structure: sequences are characterized by long fields and symmetrical layouts. The scenography is built around defined and linear axes. Framing are based on an imaginary grid, built on orthogonal or perspective lines. Decomposing the image: The sound, the editing, the position and movements of the characters in the space contribute to define the metrics of the sequences. The composition of each sequence has a theatrical atmosphere, also through strong perspectives; the connection between the dynamism of the characters, the use of colour and the chosen soundtracks, underlines the rhythm of the different sequences.
