The meaning of bunker, as an outcome from the wartime, keeps changing along with the world pattern. Nowadays, a wide variety of disciplines have drawn attention to this ubiquitous political space that was long overlooked. Some abandoned bunkers have been reused for preserving things that are valued for humanity since their mission is no longer to protect human lives. However, this phenomenon is just a tip of the iceberg compared to the quantity of the abandoned bunker worldwide. The research focuses on the concept of bunker as a preserve, with the main question of “How to use the bunkers to preserve our preciousness?”. It aims to explore the bunker’s value in the preservation aspect and the precious for humanity that deserves to be preserved. Based on theoretical research and case studies, a global design strategy of bunker diffuse museums is proposed, which is a macro network that connects worldwide bunkers used as a preserve. The headquarters (BMB) of the network, a site- specific spatial design project developed as a new paradigm with the purposes of expressing the new meaning and value of bunker to the public and presenting a unique insight to investors and organizations to use bunkers for preserving our preciousness to survive in the future.
