Using a Japanese album notebook, the assignment consists in discovering the geometric matrix of objects, games, spaces, architectures, geometric constructions, structures, rituals, symbols, urban interiors that share a fundamental figure: a tribute to the famous books by Bruno Munari dedicated to the shape of circle, square and triangle. The exercise proposes a selection of concepts rather than the graphic story of a story to be illustrated with the free hand technique through geometric schemes, orthogonal and volumetric projections that describe the numerous applications of the figure chosen in the field of art, design and architecture. The illustrations show in sequence how from a primitive or basic shape and structure an object can be drafted and built according to its material characteristics as well as functionality without neglecting the chromatic and material component.
