Laboratory abstract

In order to provide the fundamental principles for designing an environment, the Studio focuses on the topic of living in minimal spaces. Encouraged to explore alternative solutions that meet the needs of contemporary minimal living, the students are asked to develop a project based on a real context. To define their own design language, they are invited to choose among the strategies of the best interior design tradition, as illustrated in the book "Da spazio nasce spazio" by Luciano Crespi.

A place of spatial solutions and experiences has been created. The sympathy for relationships can be seen from the first environment: #social-foodarea, a space that helps the rediscovery of the company. The bright colors are also kept inside, starting from the guardhouse: #re-porter, a welcoming place with a small size treated with simplicity and refinement. It leads to the center of the network of relationships: #hackeraggio. Mutability identifies #hackeraggio, which cannot be assimilated to a kitchen, but to a place of free expression. The adjoining space unites public and private: #re-creation has transformable configurations that arouse a sense of home. Everything has a purpose in the project: the corridor, #take-a-way, is a tribute to the path, both in design and in life. #post-azione and #post-produzione are extroverted places where underground and reversibility find fertile ground. #washyourhands, the bathroom, has a lively solution in the habit, it is a known place in which to feel at ease.
