Moleskine Sketch is a concept born from various researches on the field and not, with the aim of responding to the needs of young artists and creatives travelling for pleasure or work in the Milanese territory. At the same time, however, it is created to be open to all those who want to get in touch, spend time with people from all over the world and share with them ideas and experiences of all kinds. The project is inspired by the trends of the brand moleskine: customization, sharing, attention to the environment. In a particular way, however, the concept of Phygital emerges, that is the marriage between the analogue and digital world. Ethical principles such as simplicity of shapes and quality of moleskine materials are also found in the furnishing The style used is basic, made mainly with neutral surfaces but there are also touches of color given by some furniture components such as chairs and poufs. The rooms are divided into some different types according to the tastes and needs of the guests: doubles, quadruples with the function of hostel and residence and the rooms of six with shared bathroom. The hostel presents a large common area that combines analog and digital elements. The first aspect is found in the blackboards, in the tables for the coworking equipped with a lighting system customizable according to the needs of each, and a relax area, which can be modified by users at will. The vital core of space consists of a digital element: an interactive wall. The idea behind this wall is to create a community consisting of the past, present and future guests of the hostel. All registered users can access it freely by sharing sketches, notes, tips pinned on their moleskine notebook during their stay in Milan, making them visible and shared by the rest of the community.
