Laboratory abstract

Sensoriality, perceptive experiences, the potential of visual thinking are the main threads of the laboratory. Through phases with analysis / study processes and design and communication synthesis phases, the participants experimented with operational tools and visual thinking techniques for interior design. They learned how to communicate and share experiences, research, acquired knowledge and ideas to start a project path. Objectives: 1. Learn to "disassemble" and "interpret" visited spaces (shapes, colors, materials and narrative potential); 2. Construction of a repertoire of knowledge that allows participants to identify seminal and personal expressive forms and to carry out a communication project.

In Greek culture the word “Catharsis” defined a state of purification obtained through sacrificial rituals. In the same way the installation aims to seek the wellness of the user through a process of decontamination from the logic of social superstructures. In an innovative space the recovery of natural, instinctive and spontaneous interactions takes place, which today have become lost in quality and intensity. The concept aims to respect the environment and climatic conditions. The choice of materials is taken care of, taking into account sustainability and above all with regard to the process of interaction between the person and the perception of space, time, balance, shapes, colors, sounds and lights. The sensoriality and the increased perception become the central and active fulcrum of the installation.
